If I am remember correctly from one of the lectures, it might had something to do with these two lands being geographically located approximately at the centre of the world but again, it was Allah’s decision and Allah knows best

I don’t follow the logic of ‘centre of the world’. What is the centre of the surface of a sphere? It could be any point on it

The only center of monotheism and Shahdah is only Kaaba now.

The replies in this discussion Discussion 34027 make it seem as though Palestine is still holy and that Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم was given custodianship of that land too.

Or is it that when the prophethood was in ishaaq عليه السلام’s line the Center was Palestine, then it was changed to makkah with Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم?

Transfer of custodianship means that the status of Jerusalem and Shadah associated with it have been merged with Kaaba now, with Kaaba being the only center of Shahdah and monotheism now. Nevertheless, Palestine does hold a big historical significance (not just ordinary historical importance). But Jerusalem has had always been subservient to Kaaba.

      Please see this as well:
