We’ll all be questioned (punished or rewarded or amongst the Al-araf) according to our Test in this world.
Nature of the tests that men and women face are different, nature of their crimes is different .Men have the capacity to commit violent crimes and they are supposed to be the providers, and thrre are other circumstances that result in them ending up in prisons often. You can rightly argue that Women are generally underpowered, but accordingly their test is different. They’ll be questioned as per their test and their crimes will be treated differently as their story, their circumstance was difference.
When Moosa’a mother lost her son, Allah swiftly sent ‘taskeen’ for her heart, because she would have panicked and dropped the curtain on her son’s secret origin. But when Yaqoob lost his Yusuf, there was no such taskeen, he cried until he blinded himself. The point I am trying to make is that as the gender varies and their capacities vary, so does their test.
Women have generally been brutalized and have been mistreated by men, so one could reasonably expect a higher number of men in hell but Allah knows better. Maybe a lot of welltreated women will go to hell as well 😆 (don’t take the last line seriously)
