Did the ahlul kitaab of the time of Arabia eat pork? Because if the prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم are meals with them since it was allowed to eat their food, it would be allowed

Jews dont eat pork either as its forbidden. Recently they have come up with a taweel for lab grown pig.

Chrisitan are allowed to eat as per interpretation of colossians and gospel of mark passages.

I worked in a restaurant and I have seen most of the food one way or other touches pork. It is not just french-fries, but also anything on the grill (Hashbrowns, grilled vegetables, French-toast, etc.) and anything cut by a knife…so almost all food items. The best would be to avoid all food in a restaurant where pork is served.

What’s prohibited by God is the consumption of the flesh of swine. If it’s known that fries are fried in the same oil as pork products, then as a precautionary measure it will be recommended to not to eat those fries.

As a precautionary measure because it’s haraam or as a precautionary method for some other reason? Just to make it clear as day

Precautionary measure will be recommended because it’s not always possible to know for sure whether the oil will contain traces of what is actually haram.
