In lot of YouTube videos, people accused Ghamidi sir for trying to associate with Ghamidi tribe.

Also in entertainment industry celebrities use stage name for their profession.

some people who changed from kamyar to Chaudhary or Sethi.

Is using unassociated Name for yourself is right?

There’s no harm in choosing pen names, stage names, nick names, or other such names to identify oneself as long it’s not done for a deceitful purpose, and there’s no other immoral aspect involved. Even prophet Muhammad SAW’s given name was Ahmad. Muhammad was his nick name (kuniyat). He was also known by the titles (laqab) of Sadiq and Ameen.

    👍🏼

Can we also change our caste too, like Qureshi or Hashimi for just trying to show our Love for Prophet Muhammad SAW’s linage by becoming a part of His SAW’S tribe?
