I was thinking about this story and an idea came to mind- did they have doors at the time of the prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم ? https://sunnah.com/search?q=Door I don’t think any Hadith mentions a door like W heaven today- didn’t they just have a hole which the placed a curtain on?

Door and lock of the door was a part of their buildings and this fact is mentioned in the history of arabs. Kaaba had doors and there was lock and key in the possession of Qurysh.
