Throwing Of Meteors On Satans
Quran 67:5 says that Allah decorated the sky with stars and he also fires them on shayateen. But scientifically we know that these firing things are small meteors not stars, there is big difference between stars and meteors, is there is something wrong with this verse?

Why couldn’t stars be thrown? We know that they are in orbits and movement

Stars are orbiting in specific path, their motion can’t be called throwing or firing,

Why can’t their specific path include throwing shayateen? What ayah says meteors are thrown?

From ayah it seems that stars are throwing, but we see these throwing things are Meteors in space,

Also- the moon may be considered a ‘lamp’ since it gives light even though it is not a star and just reflect light. Meteors come off of it and could be used. Other moons themselves could be used

Also ghamidi sahib in his tafseer says that here these throwing things are Meteors, how he derived this?

I am not sure about the reality. But I will try to give poosible explanation
1) we need to understand this verse in arabic of that time. The arabic word for star is najam which is not used here. So its already far streched. Even if it was then we need to understand in language of literature
Eg urdu word for comets are dum dar sitara. Now u can argue this is scientific fallacy we know there are no star with tail. Literature language is different then scientific one.2) And, Its seem to be the case when u read Quran 37:10 and 72:8.
3) A star can leave orbit. You can read more about it
