Sometimes in the uk fajr will happen at 2am and isha at 10pm.

Sometimes fajr will happen at 6am and isha at 5pm.

Doesn’t this go against the spirit of the prayer which has a set timing and splits up your day, especially the first scenario?

Isn’t it better that we take the timings of the sun from Saudi Arabia, where these rulings were most appropriate for, and then convert them to our 24 hour system?

Eg if asr happens at 4 pm in Saudi Arabia that’s when we’ll pray regardless of where the sun is in our time zone.

if Fajar will happen at 2 am then that means the relative position of earth w.r.t sun is at a point where we call it time of Fajar. Why do we need an unnecessary ijtihaad here?

It is against the spirit of the prayer of fajr being at the time of waking up. It creates so much difficulty in working days also
