    I think testimony is fundamental source of knowledge. For example i believe that my parents are my parents on the basis of testimony of others, but ghamidi sahib in his zavia ghamidi series mention three sources of knowledge and didn’t include testimony, Why he didn’t include testimony?

    But established history and perpetuity of knowledge must be distinguished. Sometimes the difference seems very subtle, but it is there nevertheless.
