Genocide Of Banu Qurayza
Posted by A Hasan on January 18, 2021 at 10:21 amSome people reject his event as occurring because it doesn’t make sense a prophet of God would allow such a punishment even if it was in the bible. What is the evidence it did and the counter argument for the point given

Contributor January 18, 2021 at 10:24 amJust because the the talks between sa’ad bin muazz and Aus led to him wanting Jewish law- it doesn’t make it right for Muslims to allow such a law to be excercised. The bible allows you to rape pre pubescent girls when u take over their cities too. And prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم must judge by the Quran. The whole thing doesn’t make sense

Maybe there was treason and possibly a few people were tried for it. Possibly I’m not saying it’s true. The Jewish people of the tribe inflated the numbers, added more details to it in order to make their suffering look a lot worse and they have a habit of this, just look at how they portrayed the babylonian exhile, the destruction by Titus, and so on. Ibn Ishaq whose grandfather was a Christian who was taken as a slave by Muslims invented this story because he was obviously biased.

Contributor January 18, 2021 at 10:42 amOne of the narrators of thus event was a Jew from the tribe, if this is not a later attribution then it would show he embellished the story.
If the story happened the way it did then 1) The prophet didn’t rule according to the Qur’an as he was meant to, 2) It was rape 3) it was murder -

Moderator January 18, 2021 at 11:07 amIf I understood correctly, you are asking whether this happened or not? Right
The event occured. Punishment was given because of their treachery based on arbitrator who decided based on torah. Thats why i shared link. See the second link, ghamidi sb is talking about that event too, -
