    6:101

the Creator of the heavens and earth! How could He have children when He has no spouse, when He created all things, and has full knowledge of all things?

    Translation: Abdul Haleem | Meccan

    39:4

God could have chosen any of His creation He willed for offspring, but He is far above this! He is the One, the Almighty.

    Translation: Abdul Haleem | Meccan

The second verse I sent seems to say that he could’ve simply chosen offspring from his creation whereas the other said he would need to have a spouse- or does it mean that he would’ve had to make one of his creation his wife?

The first verse is about having physical offspring by having a wife, and second is about choosing or selecting someone to be his son or daughter whomever He wanted.

God negated the notions of God’s sons and daughters both ways.
