Is Jahiliyya (Pre-Islamic) Poetry Preserved?
Some claim, like Taha Hussein https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/On_Pre-Islamic_Poetry , that pre Islamic poetry was later made and added. I know that his view in the Quran and Kaaba couldn’t be fake like he says because of established history- but what about this poetry?

There’s already academic criticism on Hussein’s work, however, even if his argument stands, it still makes no difference to the message of the Quran. All we need the pre-Islamic poetry for is to understand the language of that era. Even if the content of the poetry itself was fabricated, it still uses the same Arabic language that was prevalent around that time period.
