    Does this day have any inherent mercy or blessing in it? Should we do ghusl in the morning and wait to cut nails and apply fragrance on this day and wear nice clothes specifically for it?

    We should make some special arrangements for cleanliness for this day, as it has been given a special status for Juma prayer. It is ceremonial, not compulsory, and pleases God.

      What about in country where there is no congregational prayer?
