    Surah Tawbah Where Does It Say That Their Crime Is Shrik?

    Maulana sahab says that the crime of the mushrikeen is breaking treaties and oaths, not shirk itself. Which ayah in surah tawbah says that their crime is shirk?

    And why does the punshment after itmam e hujjat not come straight away- why are treaties upheld when God has decided that they are liars and evil people?

    Also why was this final azaab staggered? The people of other nations like Aad and Thamud were not given time to roam about and hear the word of God- they were killed and it was not- now if they pray and give zakah let them go. Why did the sunnah change?

      They should’ve been simply annihilated of the Earth like other nations- firaun was not given a chance to, after his rejection, when the sound of the trumpet of punishment had been sounded, repent.
