“He it is Who has raised among the unlettered people a Messenger from among themselves who recites unto them His Signs, and purifies them, and teaches them the Book and Wisdom though before that they were in manifest error; And He will raise him among others of them who have not yet joined them. He is the Mighty, the Wise.” (Surah Al-Jumuah 62:3-4)

The Ahmadies claims that in this ayat Allah says that a maseeh or a Companion of Holy Prohet s.a.w relates.

Can anybody help here about understanding this and i am also reading the Tafseer of quran by Javed ghamidi sahab to understand all aspects but a litle help here will be appreciated. Thanks brothers and sisters

Brother This Aayah Simply States Bani Ismaa’eel (اميين) were in Misguided State before Arrival of Nabi Muhammad saw and then this Aayah proceeds and says

وَّ اٰخَرِیۡنَ مِنۡہُمۡ لَمَّا یَلۡحَقُوۡا بِہِمۡ i.e Those Among Bani Ismaa’eel Who haven’t yet gotten acquainted with Nabi Muhammad’s saw message They too are in Misguided State still…Ustaad says In essence this Part of Aayah has 2 functions :-

1.Da’wat:-That O Those PeopleWho haven’t yet believed in Nabi Muhammad saw i.e Joined Community of Sahabah !Come forward and Believe like those Who are with Nabi Muhammad saw this time.

2.Bashaarat:-That Is Those Who haven’t yet believed in Muhammad saw and thus are in Misguided State like Those Umi’een who are now part of Community of Sahabah, they too shall soon join then and will come out of Zalaal e Mubeen.

This Aayah has nothing to do What Ahmadis believe that New Prophet will come to “اخرين منهم” People after Nabi Muhammad saw.. Instead “آخرين منهم” constitutes those Among Umi’een present during Prophetic Era who haven’t yet believed…

Aayah and it’s Explaination by Ustaad Ghamdi:-

    Al-Jumuah /

All that is in the heavens and the earth glorifies God, the King, the Flawless, the Mighty, the Wise.It is He who brought forth among the unlettered a Messenger from among them, who recites to them His revelations and purifies them and [for this] instructs them in the Book and in wisdom. In reality, these people were in manifest error before this. And among the other unlettered also who [after embracing faith] have yet to be included among them.God is the Mighty, the Wise One.This is the favour of God: He bestows it on whom He intends to and great is God’s favour.

    Explaination:-

Note-Only relevant part mentioned…You can look it yourself—–

Prior to this, those people are mentioned who had embraced faith from among the Ishmaelites. It is now said that this favour is also for those among them who have yet to accept faith. Deliberation shows that this is both an invitation and a glad tiding. In other words, they are people who have yet to accept faith but it is likely that they will soon do so. Hence they should come forward and avail themselves of this great opportunity.

    God Knows Best

Another Thing which I want to emphasize here is :-

Look in this part of Aayah ”…. اخرين منهم” ,the Zameer (Pronoun) “هم” refers to Whom…. Clearly It refers to Umi’een among whom RasOOLULLAH saw was raised not people of this age as Ahmadis Believe….if you understand Urdu Language I call it “ضمیر کے تعین کی غلطی” (Falacy of Determinant of Pronoun)
