I do not have URL of the video where Ghamidi Sahib shares his opinion that in case of severe difficulty in fasting in Ramadan, the whole community may shift the entire month to another month of the year.
My question/ disagreement is as follows…
1. Allah has designated a specific month as Ramadan…it is not a month of personal choosing.
2. The severe difficuty in fasting is a relative term. It may be very difficult for sick, old or children, but it may be perfectly tollerable for young and strong to be able to fast.
What is Ghamidi Sahib reasoning that the whole community may shift Ramadan. Why not only those who find it extremely difficult shift but not who can tolerate?
