    Was Choice Of Free Will Taken Only By Humans?

    Quran states (I am not quoting here) that only humans took the choice of free will and everything and every other creature refused it. Quran also states that Jinns have free will too. Please help clarify.

    (اطاعت کا یہ تقاضا اُس ارادہ و اختیار کی بنا پر کیا جاتا ہے جو ہم نے انسان کو عطا فرمایا ہے)۔ ہم نے یہ امانت [141] زمین اور آسمانوں اور پہاڑو ں کے سامنے پیش کی تھی تو اُنھوں نے اُس کو اٹھانے سے انکار کر دیا تھا اور اُس سے ڈر گئے تھے، مگر انسان نے اُس کو اٹھا [142] لیا۔ حقیقت یہ ہے کہ وہ بڑا ہی ظالم اور جذبات سے مغلوب ہو جانے والا [143] ہے۔

    Ghamidi Saab’s translation. Yahan every other creature ka zikar nai ha. ( my views🙂)

      You are right. Humans took the responsibility of free will, but it doesn’t say if all other creatures refused it. So perhaps Jinns took the offer of free will too.
