I understand Islam is clear on this subject, but it is more of a Muslims issue around the globe and I seek discussion to find resolution to this issue.

Muslim prayer requires removal of shoes for prayer. Mostly in hot months people do not do wudhu with soap before prayer and rush to join prayer. In some smaller mosques it becomes extremely difficult to breathe and focus on prayer due to foot and body odor. How should Muslims solve this issue?

I think bringing awareness of the issue is the only feasible way. For example, the masjid imam can empathetically remind about the issue every so often, and attractive signs (possibly with some good humor) can be pasted in the mosque outside the prayer hall. Generally the youth are very good with coming up with innovative ideas to solve such community problems. If they can be made to lead such efforts in every mosque, I’m certain that we will see positive results.
