  • Purpose Of Prayer In A Mosque

    It seems like a person can focus more and connect better with Allah when praying in the privacy and peace of home; yet praying in the mosque is considered Afzal in Islam. Is it because praying in a mosque helps build community, helps solve community problems, allows for opportunities to help people in need and finally allows knowledge sharing?

    Is this why or is there another reason?

    In my experience this is the biggest thing:

    allows for opportunities to help people in need

    Rest assured ‘connection with God’ & related mystics are something NOT related to Abrahmic religions, however practicality does! Abrahmic religions as far as my research goes are communitarian:
