    Al-Ahzab – 33:56

    Arabic

    إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ وَمَلَٰٓئِكَتَهُۥ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى ٱلنَّبِىِّۚ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ صَلُّواْ عَلَيۡهِ وَسَلِّمُواْ تَسۡلِيمًا

    An-Nisa’ – 4:65

    Arabic

    فَلَا وَرَبِّكَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ حَتَّىٰ يُحَكِّمُوكَ فِيمَا شَجَرَ بَيۡنَهُمۡ ثُمَّ لَا يَجِدُواْ فِىٓ أَنفُسِهِمۡ حَرَجًا مِّمَّا قَضَيۡتَ وَيُسَلِّمُواْ تَسۡلِيمًا

you too send blessings of peace and prayers to him.(Ahzab al-Bayan)

they submit to it without feeling any uneasiness in their hearts(Nisa al-Bayan)

Why is the same phrase of سلموا تسليما being translated in two different ways? Surely in Ahzab it makes sense to send blessings and submit.

The sentence and the context decides the meaning which suits it, if the word has multiple meaning

So surely in both places to submit fits perfectly fine. In the first ayah we have to send prayers of blessing and submit fully. In the second ayah submitting fully also makes sense
