Ghamdi sb views on creation of human being and evolution from haiwan’ to insan

    https://youtu.be/Y7xlpvcokEs

Dr israr also shares similar views of existence of human race and its evolution. But he claims human race was wiped out once Adam was created.

But this idea of pre existence of human race as haiwan’ is not supported by Qur’an or hadith.

Ghamidi sahab’s view is not a “human race” before Adam AS. In his opinion, some specie existed before the humans who was born out of the earth. Then one particular individual organism was selected and through the process of God’s “nafkh-e-ruh” it became the first human being – Adam AS. This is of course just his opinion which could be wrong or right. However, there’s nothing in the Quran that contradicts it.

What happened to the rest of the species once Adam was created .. and what about the concept Adam and Eve are our ancestors.

Kindly share details what is the basis of ghamdi sb theory/opinion for better understanding .. or is it accomodating modern day science evolution theory in religion ..

Other species could have existed and then gradually gone extinct, or they could still exist today – nothing in the Quran contradicts that. Whatever those species might have been, they were not humans. Adam AS was the first human, and all subsequent humans are still his descendants. Again there’s no contradiction with the Quran.

Please see the following for details of Ghamidi sahab’s view:

I am not questioning whether there is contradiction with Qur’an or not.

My query is regarding the basis of this theory. If not religion then it is an evolution theory based on science.

The link u share mentions -“The soul was subsequently bestowed upon two such animals, thereafter named Adam and Eve – the parents of all humans.”

My questions to ghamdi sb based on the link:

1- was it coz of primitive humans nature and behaviour on earth that iblis and angels refuse to accept Adam

2- what happened to the rest of primitive human species once Adam and Eve were bestowed with souls. Were they wiped out.

Would request ghamdi sb to address the topic of evolution theory along with the above mentioned questions in next live session.

Humanoids were not conscious beings, however, jinns were. They also had the free will, and they inhabited the earth before the humans. Angels questioning God about Adam AS was based on their prior knowledge of that.

I have answered your second question previously.

As I have alluded to before, this is just Ghamidi sahab’s opinion based on his knowledge of the Quran and what he knows from the science.

Good discussion on Islam and evolution:

This is actually based on the author’s MS thesis:
