  • Is Uzza A Feminine Name?

The word عُزّى is the feminine form of عَزِيْز (‘Azīz) and أَعَزَّ (A‘azza). It is evident that it has been kept because of عَزِيْز being a prominent attribute of GodThis is the note of al bayan. What is the evidence for this? Because alif maqsurah usually makes things masculine from what I know

Because it seems that uzza is simply the relative form of azeez so would using this name for God be allowed? All good names are for him

    أعَزُّ: (اسم)

    مؤنثه: العُزَّى

    الأَعَزُّ : ذو العزَّة والغلبة

    هُوَ مِنْ أعَزِّ أصْدِقَائِهِ : أغْلَى

    هَذَا أعَزُّ عَلَيَّ مِنْ نَفْسِي : أقْرَبُ، أنْفَسُ، أغْلَى

Here it says uzza is the feminine version actually: https://www.almaany.com/ar/dict/ar-ar/أعز/
