    Aslam Alaikum

With due respect my name is Hammad Ahmad. I am a student in German University. First of all I am really grateful to you that after listening to you since 3 years we alhamdulillah learned the deen with its pure form. Its all due to your compassionate behaviour. I have a question relating Taraweeh salah. We friends are planning to perform taraweeh salah at home this Ramadan Inshaallah. But no one is Hafiz of Quran. Is it possible that we can listen the taraweeh salah on mobile phone or another source and follow it as imam by using the recorded videos of Imam e kabaa or anyother?

    Thanks Alot.

    Best wishes

May almight showers countless blessings on you.

The recitation of Quran must be in Arabic only.

      What is argument for that?

Is it not better we understand also what arabic ayats meaning are, specilly when we are alone trying to talk with God and listen last hadayat.

The argument being that recitation of Quran in Salah has been transmitted as an established Sunnah. Even translation would change it’s status from being Quran (as revealed by the Almighty) to a translated version of Quran, and it doesn’t qualify as being called Quran in real terms. It also serves the purpose of uniformity and homogeneity among Muslims all around the world, especially in Salah. However, as pointed out by Yaseen Sahab as well, one can see the translation along with the recitation of Quran.

We can recite the arabic with the translation recited in the heart
