Where in Quran does Allah forbids eating with non-Muslims?? This attitude is very common among Muslims and most of the times Muslims avoid eating with non-muslims. Even in our households, non-Muslims, mostly Christians, render cleaning services but when it comes to kitchen, the concept of “impure and unclean others” creeps in.

Quran doesn’t prohibit eating with Non-Muslims anywhere. This has to do with years long psychology of Muslims where they have been told that they are the only ones on the right path (also through misinterpretation of some Quranic verses originally relating to itmam-e-hujjah law), they are bound for Jannah and they used to rule the world in the past and are going to eventually rule it again, which also adds an element of superiority in Muslims. This will change, but this needs educating Muslims about what truly is Islam and what it demands from Muslims as to how they should lead their lives. And this kind of change, although more permanent in nature, but needs a lot of time, effort and patience.
