Ghamidi Sb has always said that the message of all the prophets are universal but they are sent to specific nations to address certain deviation, or in the case of messengers (rasuls) to establish itmam al-Hujjah on their respective people. There is a hadith in Bukhari which goes as follows:

“Every Prophet was sent to his nation only, but I have been sent to all mankind.”

This seems like endorsing the traditional view that all the previous prophets were somehow local and only Prophet Muhammad is the universal prophet. My question is are there indications in the Quran which says that the previous prophets were also sent as a guide for the whole mankind and not just their respective people?

There’s nothing in this narration that goes against the overall framework of religion. Since Prophet Muhammad (sws) is the last messenger, hence He is the only Prophet for the rest of the mankind now till the day of Qiyamah.
