Zakat On Gift From Father
If a married woman who has no employment income receives gift from her father. How much zakat will be due? 2.5% from annual wealth assessment or 20% since this is a gift? Does it make a difference if the father is paying it out of zakat paid assets?

Gifts are not production / earning so only the asset zakat will be due. On the day your zakat is due, you would pay 2.5% on the sum total of whatever wealth you have which may include any assets you might have received as gifts.
