From Ghamidi sahb’s lecture I learnt following 2 things about Quran which may need further elaboration please:

    1) Quran is a historical record of prophet PBUH message. It records incidents that happend in Arabia in the life span of prophet from the day when he was chosen as a prophet til his departure from the world. ( explanation needed as follows)

What is that Quran which was written on lohe mehfooz? Was that the same Quran about Arab history in prophet life span( dawet, inzar, inzar e aam etc) and it was written from the beginning, will stay till end or that is something different?

    2. Allah spoke with Prophet PBUH other than Quran too.

Who was deciding what talks were Quran and what were not to be included in the book even though in both conversations there was guidance from Allah?

As far as loh-e-mehfooz, yes of course it’s the same Quran. The little that have been told about it is in the following video. The rest is not relevant for us.

God decided the content of the Quran. Please refer to the translation and notes in Al-Bayan for Quran passage 75:16-19.

I believe what is said but in Ghamidi School of Thought it is being told that there is rational behind everything being said to believe.

On one hand, Quran is such a general discussion about the current situation of the time and answering questions of people of that time while on the other hand it is an eternal word written on Lohe Mehfoz from the eternity.

Eternal word was supposed to come closer to the end time( as our prophet PBUH is the last messenger of Allah) or at the beginning of the mankind ?

Shouldn’t an eternal word be the same for whole mankind which was given to every nation Instead of a whole general situational book which even talks about the characters of a specific time and specific area.

I am not sure if its a mutshahbihat and we cant grasp it fully, if its one of those things please let me know so we can just believe in this or we can have more detailed lectures about this topic.

God’s knowledge encompasses everything without any boundaries of time and space.

Loh-e-mehfooz is one of those things that belong to the metaphysical realm. We have no way of knowing anything about it other than what we have been told by God. It’s not even important for us because not knowing the details about such things makes no difference in our understanding of the message of the Quran.

As for the nature of the Quran and why the eternal word uses characters and events of a specific time period, a proper introduction to the book will definitely help. In that regard the videos and the book in the following thread help:

Also this Ramadan Hassan Ilyas sahab will be discussing this topic. The videos will be shared on Ask Ghamidi so stay tuned.
