How can we (Muslims) say that “Quran is the most read book in the world? But if we look at the population ratio of religious communities in the world, Christians comprise of 31.11% and Muslims consist of 24.9% of the world population. How can we say that Quran is more read book as compared to Holy Bible?

Quran may or may not be the most read book in the world, however, such claims do not amount to much. We should be more focused on how many people actually understand what they read and implement it in their lives.
Quran was not sent down in order to win any book reading competitions – it was sent down by the Creator of this universe as His last communication to the inhabitants of our planet so that we may understand His scheme and prepare in advance for a wondrous event that’s about to take place – the end of the world followed by a day of judgement. If we pay heed to the message of the Quran and prepare accordingly, our life afterwards will be that of eternal joy and comfort; where as if we fail to do so, we could be subjected to a great torment. It’s that simple.
