All books of fiqh are authentic as they’re not forgeries. However, in Ghamidi sahab’s opinion, everything must be understood in the light of the Quran and the Sunnah as established by Prophet Muhammad SAW. Just because a particular jurist has opined about a particular matter in a particular way does not mean that it should not be analyzed in the light of the Quran and the Sunnah.
