    As Salaam alaykum,

Sir, I want to quote “Science gives us but partial knowledge of reality”. Quran also tells us about the limitations of our knowledge.

My question is is not it very depressing and frustrating for people who truly craves for the understanding of reality which may includes about Allah s.w.t and also about the phenomenon discussed in Quran itself ?

The way that humans are designed is that they only need relevant information in order to make their decisions. For example, when you choose a field of study or a career, you make an informed decision based on your relevant knowledge and experience. It’s neither physically possible nor very useful for any one person to research every single field of study or career choice ahead of time. Same concept applies in all our decisions in every walk of life.

Religion gives us enough evidence for God and the day of judgement, and asks us to make a rational decision based on our knowledge. Any anxiety or frustration is only caused by us wanting to know everything ahead of time, which is again neither physically possible nor very useful. In time to come we will know the big picture Insha’allah, however for now we have more than enough information to move forward.
