Quran 2:22 – How Can Sky Be A Ceiling?
Assalam u Alaikum,in 2:22 Allah mentions
“[He] who made for you the earth a bed [spread out] and the sky a ceiling. (2:22)”
How is it possible?A ceiling has no characteristics that can be attributed to a sky.
Please clarify.Thanks.

Please keep in mind when reading the Quran that you’re reading very tasteful literature that employs a lot of metaphors and other literary devices. Following video might help with some of this confusion, but I suggest that you watch the entire series:

In my opinion. You can’t cross a ceiling. A ceiling is a barrier. Even Jinn are not allowed to cross the barrier.
Many Quran translations state 7 universes on top of us. So the end of this universe is a ceiling.
