Ghamidi sab always mentions that the tribe of bani-hashim was always following deen-e-Ibrahimi.
My question is that then why the family of our Prophet PBUH ( his uncles) did not accept his message right away ?

The affiliation with the ongoing tradition doesn’t allow them accept his message which was original. They were fond of the tradition of distorted religion of Abraham.
If you like to experience it, you may tell today’s Muslim for example in rural areas of Punjab to leave their certain unIslamic and polytheistic practices which they relate to Sufism, and the original message of Islam which they beloved is this , they would resist you the same way.
