Ghamidi Sahib has one view but there are other views too. The other view is somewhat similar to Ghamidi Sahib in a sense that Quran is NOT a book of science, but it is a book of SIGNS. So there are scientific facts just to prove to people that this book is from the creator.

It has some proven science for us to see that what is proven just a couple of hundred years ago was stated in this book 1400 years ago. So this book couldn’t be from anyone but Allah. Similarly, for the future generations there are some scientific facts that have not been proven yet.

The third category is a handful of some scientific facts in Quran that seem to be incorrect. We find that those incorrect fact are either due to translation issues or they seem incorrect now based on current scientific knowledge and as science advances they will be proven correct. There are many examples of this. For example, at one time scientist believed and even proved with some scientific experiments that Sun is statinary, but now it is proven that the Sun is rotating and revolving at the same time.

So a few scientific facts that seem incorrect in Quran will Insha Allah be poven to be correct with the advancement of science.
