1 Rakat Of Witr
Assalam u Alaikum,many Islamic scholars say that 1 rakat of Witr is only when you have less time and Fajr is about to start.Can we pray 1 rakat early in the night also?or does the standard starts from 3 rakats?

Witr means to add an additional rakah to Tahajjud salah to make the total number of rakahs odd.
