1)Concerning Abraham (peace be upon him), Allah has not only clarified his name by saying that he was a messenger, but has also made it clear that his people were among the nations addressed by the messengers who were destroyed for their crimes. The Almighty says:

Has there not reached them the news of those before them – the people of Noah and [the tribes of] ʿAad and Thamūd and the people of Abraham and the companions [i.e., dwellers] of Madyan and the towns overturned? Their messengers came to them with clear proofs. And Allah would never have wronged them, but they were wronging themselves. ”(Al-Tawbah 70: 9).

See, in this blessed verse, not only is the nation of Abraham mentioned with the slain nations, but it is also made clear that their messengers came to these nations with clear signs. Which clearly means that Hazrat Ibrahim, like the people who came to other nations, also held the office of “Rasool”. As for your suspicion that in Surah Maryam he is called a “Nabi,” it is a statement of the fact that every rasool is also a nabi. That is, it is obligatory for the rasool to also be a nabi. Because he is guided by Allah and then calls people to the truth. But being a rasool, it also happens that the nation faces destruction in the form of rasool’s denial. All these things are stated in this one verse of Surah At-Tawbah. Therefore, calling Ibrahim a nabi at any point in the Qur’an does not deny that he was a rasool. Consider how many places Allah has addressed the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) as a Prophet. Will this deny that he is your Messenger?
