Reciting Quran Behind An Imam During Prayer
Praying after an imam, it is said that we should not say the surah Fatiha and the part of quran. Question is can we do it or is it prohibited?

Nothing has been explicitly said by the Prophet Muhammad (sws) in this regard, whatever opinions we have are based on ijtihaad. And Ghamidi Sahab is of view that whenever Imam is reciting out loud, we should listen, as listening of Quran is equivalent to its recitation, and whenever Imam is reciting silently, we should also recite it silently.
