    Assalamualaikum warehmatullah

    Sir,

Me Sheikh Nawaz Ahmad, civil engineer from Indian occupied Kashmir. I want to know is it halal to work in network marketing company especially in ‘FLP company america’, as this is the matter of lakhs of muslim youth who have joined it and earning lakhs of amount. One of my friend also invited me to join FLP company, please tell me whether I should join it or not???

Please give answer after going through all details and procedure of work and earnings of FLP company.

I Contacted many Muftis but unfortunately they didn’t make me understand satisfactorily rather they just replied it is haram nothing more.

Now At last I’m coming to Your goodness & requesting you to make me understand. Hoping so insha’Allah…But plzzz reply as soon as possible, waiting eagerly.

This will be your most kindness and generosity.

    Walikumaslam,
Can you elaborate what does FLP do and why other mufti considered it haram?

The other Muftis are saying it is haram as our deoband futwa board has verdicted this as Haram… but some are saying FLP is giving you money with out ur efforts(bagair mehnat).

What actually FLP is doing I can’t say it here in detail… I can give you over view the company work and salary shedule below :

after free registration under sponsorship of a person who is making me to join through his id, company is giving us their products (aloevera contained-health products) with some discount to sell/recommend them in general public.

Steps or levels we have to pass in order to achieve different status/level in company

      1) we have to buy products at least 5000 and sell them. To achieve the level in which we can add/join some other person by ourselves under our sponsorship to do same business. After achieving this ,Here we become business owner.

      2) we have to sell/recommend the product of cost 33000 to acheive 2cc(cc=case creadit, which is common currency of this company all over the world). Here we become Assistant supervisor.

Like wise acheiving different levels in company after getting respective no. Of CCs (case creadits)

at different levels/status we are earning different amounts of salaries respectively.

      3) Here we are getting bonus/passive income(cc) from our downlines(the person/s joined by me or the person joined by them, joined by them next ….so on upto end line)as well.some special percentage of amount we are getting from their(downlines) work as well.this earning is called as bonus or passive income here.

Butt here is an important that the bonus amount/passive income is subjected to a condition that we must fill, the condition is that “we have to generate a special no. Of CCs (case credits) by ourselves actively”, then we get our passive income otherwise we will be denied of passive/bonus income.

4)if somebody does not work or suspend his work for a particular time, his gained CCs will be washed off.

      This was brief

For details you can google FLP companies procedure and get well known with it.

      Now waiting for answere?????

Its seem to me like pyramid scheme.
Since I didnt understood the the company buisness model, I will give general comment.
Any thing which cause immorailty (Fraud, harming other etc) will be considered haram. For understanding the principle of haram o halal. Kindly refer to following thread

It’s not possible for us to research companies in any detail.

The direct marketing business model that FLP uses doesn’t raise any concerns. Also the products that they sell are categorized as health and beauty, so there’s nothing of concern there either. This company is legally operating in many countries for several years so it doesn’t appear to be a scam.

The principle is that all businesses are halal, unless they have any aspect of shirk or immorality. After understanding this principle, you can apply it to any business and figure out whether it’s halal or haram. As I stated above, it’s not possible for us to research companies in detail.

For further details about haram/halal please refer to:

Assalam alaikum Shaik Nawaz bh , This is nothing but Multi level marketing. At the outset the Products you are marketing are not look to be haram . The income you are getting after investment and effort does not look to be haram . The matter here of concern is the safety of your money you are investing in this business . Day by Day you are trapped in this business and sink deep in to it and you will never be able to find out a way out with out losing your invested money. This business made to appear to be profitable but not so in reality, you are cheated to a greater extent. Be careful before investing or starting this business. May Almighty Allah Swt protect and guide you.

    I know this business

Forever living products (FLP) business model seems halal but it is not

    The product is halal

And if you buy the product and then sell it, is also permissible

But they initially want money (~38k) to buy the product and complete 2CC.(2CC is minimum requirements for getting frenchisee) after that, what you do with the product that is not there headache/concern.

then they want from you to join new persons so that they also buys the product and complete his/her 2CC and his/her joining commision will be given to you

    Now the problem here is

    1) any one who is joining the company/franchisee is not joining becouse of the product but his (niat) is to initiate the commission he will get from new joinee

The more you join more you will earn commission

    2) the product is not useful (it’s just useless)

    3) after completing 2cc you just need the manage the team on WhatsApp or any chat platform and you will get the money in your account passively. (Without any effort ) [Remember: Assuming WhatsApp management is not effort. ]

many people think that the product and company have halal certificate then why not FLP

Simple answer: Becouse of this business model only

In islam you not only see the product is halal or haram also we need to consider the way of earning

At the end I will say Allahu alam

May Allah forgive me if I am wrong (aameen)
