Basis Of Belief
Salam. I want to know whether belief in God, Prophets, life hereafter etc should be based on reason, logic or evidence (scientific or unscientific)? Or it should be based on evidence of heart or personal experiences specially regarding God’s existence. Please explain with examples from Islamic belief system.

Once there is a firm belief established in Allah, the authenticity of Quran and the Quran as the boook Allah, based on logic and reasoning, then it doesn’t hurt to find logic and resoning in everything else, but do not expect to always find it.
In every aspect of life, we verify a few and then trust the rest. Not everything can be verified.
