Can Zakat Be Used To Build An Orphanage?

I work for a non-profit organization (GiveLight foundation) and our mission is to build orphanages around the world. We have 6 orphanages in different parts of the world that we constructed and manage. My question is that “Does building an orphanage qualify for zakat funds?” If Ghamdi saab could help me explain this question so I can direct the board appropriately, it will be very helpful. Hoping to hear from someone soon, insha’Allah.
