An-Nahl – 16:15

وَأَلۡقَىٰ فِى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ رَوَٰسِىَ أَن تَمِيدَ بِكُمۡ وَأَنۡهَٰرًا وَسُبُلًا لَّعَلَّكُمۡ تَهۡتَدُونَ
As far as I know, mountains are the result of destructive plate boundaries and coming during earthquakes etc. Is there any scientific research on this ayah?
