I don’t think there’s a problem buying Quran online.
We do not find any evidence of specific handling of the Quran apart of usual cleanliness. There is no commandment in Quran itself. Neither it’s reported that it’s a good deed to keep Quran wrapped in silk or written only on expensive and nice paper etc. it’s personal choice and not a religious obligation.
Published / written Quran was transported over donkeys, camels before train was invented.
