Zakat On Assets Saved For A House
We saled our house to purchase new one, but waiting for some money and currently living on rent… The money we have kept in form of silver. Do we have to pay zakat on this silver, while this silver is kept for to buy home. Pls guide?. Zakat is exempt on this silver or we have to pay the zakat, till we not purchased the home.

Yes, 2.5% zakat will be due on all assets in your possession on the day your zakat is due as long as you’re above nisab.
