Why hadeeth can’t be a source of deen?
According to principle we’ll follow only those hadeeths which are not against the Quran.
There is no doubt deen(Quran o Sunnat) is transferred through Ijmah and Tawatur but as there was a need of written scripture of Quran, in the same way, there is need of sunnah in written scripture.
Hadeeth is not only historical record rather there are chapters of Imaniyat, Ikhlaqiyat.
One more thing is that you can’t even prove that deen is Quran and Sunnah except using Hadeeth e Jibreel.
According to my perception, Hadeeth is mixture of sunnah, Prophet’s pbuh quote and history. With little effort we can differentiate them.
