Contradictions generally mean opposing ideas or facts. Injunctions can vary with time, however, they can’t be viewed as contradictions.

Quran advocates objective morality – all Islamic moral values have a single objective and that’s to empower believers with freedom and fair means to excel in good work. A contradiction would mean there is something that goes against the main objective. There is none such thing in Quran. All values roll up to that single objective. Change in rituals or other SOPs has nothing to do with contradiction as long as the primary objectivity is intact.
