I had watched videos where Mr Ghamidi talks about wishing and attending non-Muslim festivals. If I’m not wrong there he mainly emphasized on Christian festivals and didn’t talk much about the Hindu festivals which contain polytheistic practices ( shirk) so I’m a bit confused that. The majority of my friends are Hindus with whom i share a very good bond, so whenever there are Hindu festivals they sometimes wish me first and i wish them back and also i’ve previously attended quite a lot of their religious festivals (not took part in the practices just attended) and they have attended mine. These have always been about friendly gestures. So I would like to know if there is anything wrong or haram in that (simply wishing or attending).

There’s no prohibition in greeting your friends or attending their festivities as long as you don’t participate in anything that’s immoral or polytheistic in nature.
