Each sign is assigned an animal and later assigned different symbols. Babylonian, Chinese and Hindu civilizations took particular interest in developing this knowledge. Then people looked at the characteristics of people born under different zodiac signs. Then this is used to predict events in personal lives of people, nations, wars etc
It’s not science neither it is perfect.
What we have ability to understand our situation in any given moment and take action based on available data without emotions, as much as possible and that’s it!!
Things we do subconsciously or under the influence of our cultural/ethnically background and things that happen to us NOT as a consequence of our actions but without our intervention in anyway are Taqdeer. Similarly our limitations, mental or physical, r Taqdeer too
Sure there is evidence that celestial bodies have gravity and they affect electromagnetic fields around us but since it is beyond our control and understanding, it is also Taqdeer
Bottom line, it’s neither science nor metaphysics nor religion so don’t waste time reading your horoscope. Even if it’s true we can not anything to change it. If we act on it then we will never know if it was the right decision

Except where it mentions personality traits, it seems that a greater part of a horoscopes is based on conjecture. There is no harm in reading them. However, one must not depend only upon them.”
