Donating To Ghamidi Sahab's Organization
It is more of a comment then a question, how can someone donate to your organization and then make sure it is getting to the right people and put to use for the intended purposes, there are so many different websites, like for example following urls

https://al-mawrid.org.au/Then there is via Zelle, via Google Pay, I think you all need to consolidate all of these sites into one portal, which is authentic and secure, it is confusing to say the least, I am sure all donors wants to make sure that there donations are getting to the correct institution and are being put to purpose i.e. where the donor made the intention
Another suggestion is to make clear defined purposes where your organization can take or can not take the donations and do update the donor, if the funds are being dispersed as intended, like for example, I have been donating for may be 1+ year for Sponsor the Ask Ghamidi App at the following url

However it says “$7,273 of $10,000 raised” for as long as I can remember, no updates, my donations, used to work but I am not able to get it working for almost a year
Also would be helpful if you mention on your website, what type of donations your organization can take and what are some of the donations that you can not entertain, like for example, I was told by one of your senior member that you do not take Zakat, because there is no way for your organization to disperse it, there are other suggestions and support that I can provide, I am a local Dallas resident and would be my pleasure to assist your organization with any type of help I can provide, please let me know if I can be of any assistance

I understand your confusion. Al-Mawrid consists of different organizations in different countries, hence there are different web sites. Ghamidi Center of Islamic Learning (https://www.ghamidi.org) is an initiative of Al-Mawrid U.S (https://www.almawridus.org) for the sole purpose of educating people.
I’m not sure who you spoke with, but we do accept zakat, sadaqat, and all other kinds of donation. In fact we have a Zakat Calculator built right into Ask Ghamidi where we allow people to properly calculate their zakat as per Ghamidi sahab’s explanation and disperse their zakat at the same time.
I apologize for the amount not updating for Sponsor Ask Ghamidi on our web site. It might be a bug that we’ll sure look into at our earliest.
I really appreciate you sponsoring Ask Ghamidi. As you can already see, your donation has allowed us to help thousands of people in just the one year since we started this initiative. In the last 460 days since we went live, 3,783 registered users have posted 27,279 messages under 5,732 unique topics on Ask Ghamidi.
