If a girl whose real and natural father have died and that girl`s marriage in the columns of father and walee instead of the name of her real and biological or natural father ,some other relative (the person who adopted her) gets his name recorded as both father and walee whether such marriage is void and sin?

Adopted child should always be made aware of his/her biological father. If this point has been properly taken care of, then foster parents can use their names as father and mother of that child.

It also must be understood that wali is not an absolute requirement for nikah. If the paperwork was not done correctly, depending upon the circumstances it may be an act that might have to be justified in front of God by the responsible party. However, such an act doesn’t invalidate the nikah.
