  Accepting Awarded Money In A Defamation Case

  My question is that can we claim or take money for defamation like in case of diyat or qisas?

  If the case was justified and the money is awarded by a relevant court in accordance with the law of the land then there’s no prohibition in Islam regarding accepting the money.
