  Male Gynaecologist

  Is it allowed for a Muslim pregnant woman to have her birth assisted by a male gynaecologist if female doctor is not on duty?

  I am a student myself. To my understanding, yes, it is allowed if there is no option available to have a female Gynacologist available in an emergency.
