Family Movies And Adult Movies.
Some movies are made to watch with family (including Children, parents, grand parents and etc) and some movies are made only for adults ( including married couples, adults, and etc). Not talking about the pornographic movies but m talking about movies and series which contain some sort of adult scenes , words or anything.
Example :- James bond ( The movie is about action but it contains some sort of adult scenes), Titanic( the movie is about the incident of Titanic but it contain some sort of such scenes)
So yeah can a muslim adult or couple watch these types of movies,series in leisure time or for entertainment and also say others (mature people) to watch these movies , or series obviously not for those scenes but for the actual content.

Yes they can, if it donot involve anything in broad categories defined by verse 7:33

By broad categories you mean that Movies or series should not involve anything defined by verse 7:33 at a larger level?.
the main motive and the content of the movie should be good and and the larger portion of it should be good.

Yeah but I had some confusions so I asked it again. maybe I was not convinced by your answer or maybe I didn’t get it in a right way. According to my understanding skipping is not always possible due to various reasons. 1) Maybe some important scenes are going which can be related to the movie. 2) Not having the option to skip. (Ex:- when we watch movies or anything in threatre, t.v).
Or maybe I understood it wrong. You may mean by “skipping” is to not to focus or get affected from such scenes.
